Answering the Ministry of Communication and Multimedia Malaysia’s call for more affordable broadband, U Mobile has introduced the best 1GB mobile data plan — the UMI 25.
The UMI 25 offers 1GB of high speed mobile internet powered by U Mobile’s 3G/4G network. There’s more to the plan than that, though. U Mobile also offers free data for video streaming via YouTube and Tonton between 2AM to 10AM daily (off peak).
You can also enjoy free data for music streaming all-day and all-night on favourite music channels like KKBOX, Hitz.FM, Era FM and MY.FM.
The plan comes bundled with 30 minutes free on-net (U Mobile to U Mobile) calls everyday, all day with every top-up. Call rates are as low as 5 sen for every 30 seconds to all networks.
U Mobile currently serves over two million customers across Malaysia. The young telco, which employs a unique network strategy, plans to deploy 1,000 3G and 1,000 4G LTE network sites by end of 2015. It also has 3G Radio Access Network (RAN) sharing arrangements with providers like Maxis and Celcom for expanded coverage.
