Kuala Lumpur, April 2 2013 – U Mobile Sdn Bhd, considered to be Malaysia’s most dynamic and innovative 3G mobile operator officiated a partnership with SAS Malaysia, world leading business analytics software and service provider. The partnership will consist of the integration of SAS’ Visual Analytics solution into U Mobile’s operations, here in Malaysia.
Present at the signing ceremony was Jaffa Sany Ariffin, Chief Executive Officer of U Mobile who kept his speech short and simple, exclaiming that the partnership and its deployment will provide its customers a “better value proposition” and adding no more when asked of future possibilities. He also mentioned that SAS’ Visual Analytics will aid in determining consumer trends, provide more useful, versatile and adaptive methods of controlling collected data in real time, which is a clear advantage over their competitors.
Also present at the ceremony was Andrew Tan, Managing Director of SAS Malaysia whom represented SAS Malaysia during the signing. As part of his speech, Mr. Andrew Tan explained SAS’ Visual Analytics and it’s advantages.
This would be a brave and absolutely brilliant step for U Mobile, embracing new technologies that could greatly affect how well they can serve their consumers. U Mobile has always been ahead in this regard, not only serving one of the best mobile and data plans in the market (if not THE best) but also the most innovative payment methods to date. The power of the SAS Visual Analytics solutions is undeniable, it’s user friendly interface and real time data crunching is a huge advantage when used appropriately.
