Nokia PureView 808

This is the first phone to ever stick a 41 megapixel camera into a smartphone. This is the same phone where the PureView Algorithm became something of a selling point for Nokia, which they are banking on to produce great pictures with their new Lumia 920. But back to the 808, this camera is great for outdoor shots and its default settings when left in automatic mode, produces stunning photographs. It has so many modes that includes “Vivid” if you want the colors of the images to really pop. When it comes to low-light environments, it can still compete with top-shelf shooters. The Xenon Flash is a little too bright, but it is pretty great for dark environments. When it comes to camera phones, this is definitely in a class of its own.

For people who want s to capture entire scenes, the 3D Panoramic sweep options is available as well.

LG Optimus G (Sprint)

The Sprint version of the LG Optimus G has something that its AT&T counterpart did not, which is a 13 megapixel camera. And Sprint’s camera is able to capture more details compared to the 8 megapixel version of AT&T. There are several modes you can choose from, including HDR (high dynamic range) and sweeping panorama.  It has a burst shot feature, which takes six continuous images at once, and you can even set up a voice trigger, which lets you take a shot through a voice enable command like “cheese.”

HTC One X

HTC boasts of its ImageSense Technology, which is an image processor that speeds up performance. And it has worked wonders for this camera phone. Plus it has a lot of features like HDR and Panorama modes, burst or continuous shooting, face and smile detection, and others. This is one of the best cameras both for outdoor shots and indoor settings. In fact, even with just a fluorescent light, the images still appear clear and sharp.

Though other factors need to be considered, such as its spec sheet, or if it is a viable business phone, people who are pretty specific about their camera needs may find that the phones mentioned have the best camera features in the market today.
