iOS5-leakedupdate

MacRumors has stumbled upon what seems to be a new Automatic Update feature set to be part of iOS 5. What this means is that iPhones, iPads and other iOS devices will have the ability to update apps/system without tethered sync to a Mac/PC. Apple quickly removed this from view after the leak was discovered. Over-the-Air updates and wireless syncing would be a welcome feature for iOS device users, something Android users have been enjoying since day one. Let’s hope this comes true come Steve’s WWDC keynote later tonight. 🙂
