After turning heads in 2018 as the world’s first FullView notebook, the second-generation Huawei MateBook X Pro makes an entrance to Malaysia. Huawei’s official online store is turning six this 29 April 2020 and to celebrate this momentous occasion, the brand is offering amazing deals and free gifts.
Huawei isn’t a brand traditionally known for making computers, but who’s to say it can’t try. Its foray into the segment began in 2016 with the Huawei MateBook, a 2-in-1 convertible taking on the Microsoft Surface. It went on to make a couple more including the critically-acclaimed flagship MateBook X Pro, MateBook D and MateBook 13. The latest to come from the Huawei stable is the MateBook D 15, an entry-level, stylish workhorse that sold like hot cakes on its debut in China. Thanks to Huawei Malaysia, I’ve gotten my hands on a review unit, just in time for it to hit stores over the last weekend.
Huawei’s much-anticipated Windows notebook PC—the MateBook D 15–is officially sold out, on the first day of sales. The feature-packed affordable notebook went on sale at Huawei’s four-city roadshow across Malaysia—IOI City Mall, Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur; Sunway Pyramid, Petaling Jaya, Selangor; Queensbay Mall, Penang; and Imago Mall, Sabah.
Huawei Malaysia has announced that its highly-anticipated Huawei MateBook D 15 notebook will be hitting Malaysian shores starting 18 January 2020. Malaysia is the first overseas market to offer the 15-inch notebook that flew off the shelves in China since its introduction in October 2019.
