When it comes to design and aesthetics, how appealing a product is can boil down to individual tastes. A fine example would be the pronounced “halo” camera bump on the new Mate 30 series. Love it or hate it, I’m certain it has the world divided. Personally, I prefer the design of the Mate 20, but hey, to each his own, right?
Huawei today unveiled its much-talked about flagship Mate 30 series in Munich, Germany. Featuring a brand new design headlined by a pronounced circular camera bump, the Mate 30 continues to push the boundaries of mobile photography and next generation connectivity. It’s the world’s first second generation 5G smartphone, powered by the Kirin 990 SoC 5G—the first mobile chip to integrate a 5G radio on-chip.
The Huawei Mate 30 series is set to make a global debut on 19 September, and as usual there has been a slew of image and spec leaks. Huawei’s flagship device is undeniably the last big device launch of the year after the recent Galaxy Note10 and iPhone 11. All eyes are on the Huawei Mate 30, and its pronounced circular camera bump.
Huawei is set to reveal its flagship Mate 30 series this coming Thursday, 19 September 2019. This new series is significant, and perhaps for the wrong reasons—it could be Huawei’s first devices to launch globally without official Google apps and services. Thanks, Mr Trump.
