Sony’s new EXTRABASS portable wireless speakers deliver extra deep bass

Sony EXTRABASS SRS-XB3

If deep bass is what you’re looking for, then you’re going to love Sony’s new range of EXTRABASS wireless speakers. The SRS-XB3 and SRS-XB2 portable wireless speakers bring big punchy bass despite their diminutive sizes.

Drop the bass

The secret to the punchy bass in the XB3 is the newly developed 48mm large full range speaker unit. This is coupled with Sony’s unique DSP that dynamically optimizes each music track. Thanks to significant output power and dual passive radiators to augment bass ranges, the XB3 delivers where it counts—extra bass.

Sony EXTRABASS SRS-XB3

Enjoy the big sound and be deceived by its size and weight. It weighs just 930g, with a battery life of 24 hours of continuous wireless use.

On the other hand, the XB2 is a powerful palm-sized speaker that weighs just 480g. It houses a new 42mm gauge full range speaker unit, with extra strong magnets to deliver pure bass sound. The lightweight diaphragm improves sound pressure levels. Like the XB3 it also features Sony’s DSP and passive radiator for higher acoustic pressure and punchier bass notes.

A quick four hour recharge will provide up to 12 hours of continuous wireless use.

The XB3 is a chameleon—use it vertically or horizontally depending on preference or environment.

You can use both the XB2 and XB3 together using the ‘Speaker Add’ function for even more powerful, fuller sound. Use Double Mode to playback music through two speakers simultaneously. Or use Stereo mode to play music in stereo.

Sony EXTRABASS SRS-XB2

Both speakers have IPX5 rating, so rest assured spillages are nothing to be worried about. They feature NFC for easy pairing via Bluetooth.
