Together with the new Sony Xperia Z3+ unveiling, Sony Mobile also launched the 86,400 photography competition. The competition is to create a photo gallery that will end up as a visual collage of a day in the Asia Pacific region.
Why 86,400 you ask? Well, there are 86,400 seconds in a day. That’s an entire day to enjoy, explore and experience life. The visual campaign covers Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea and the Philippines. Every second captured in each city will be collated to form a regional narrative.
The big search will commence on 27 July 2015, 9AM Malaysia Local Time (“MYT”) and will run until 29 August, 9PM MYT. Winners will be picked based on the highest number of likes for their photo, and the eventual winner will win a Sony Xperia C4 smartphone.
That’s not all. The overall winner will also be selected by Sony, and will stand a chance to win the major prize – a trip for two to Tokyo, worth over SGD$15,000. It includes:
- Return private car transfers;
- 1 night’s twin sharing accommodation in Tokyo;
- Tsujiki fish market tour with a Tokyo resident including tasting
