Shake with Boost to give back to the less fortunate

Boost App

Local e-wallet Boost, is introducing several new features to encourage users to give back to those in need this Raya.

Boost’s unique and popular “Shake” feature rewards users for ever transaction made with the app. Shake rewards are in a form of cash back to a user’s wallet and can range from upwards of MYR1.

This festive season, Boost is enabling the “spirit of giving” with a couple of new features allowing users to give back to society through their smartphones.

Through the app, users can send duit raya to a loved one, as well as donate to a chosen charity.

Boost has partnered with Tabung BERSAMAMU and Tabung Harapan as a few of a list of organisations users can donate to.

Tabung BERSAMAMU by Media Prima is a charity that supports the less fortunate including orphans, old folks, families and disaster victims.

Other organisations that Boost users can donate to include:

  • Pertubuhan Kebajikan Chester
  • Pusat Jagaan Sri Mesra

  • Pertubuhan Kebajikan Darul Insyirah
  • Pusat Jagaan Nurul Jannah

With Tabung Harapan, for every 10th shake rewards, Boost has pledged to donate MYR1 to Tabung Harapan, until 13 July 2018.

Aside from donating to charity and sending duit raya, users will be rewarded with doubt the duit raya everyday upon sharing with friends and family. Join this challenge by scanning any QR code from Boost merchants and receive two duit raya packets every 24 hours.

As a primer, Boost was launched in January 2017, a mobile lifestyle wallet that initially let prepaid users top up their mobile credit. It has grown to be much more, a full-fledge e-wallet that lets you pay for shopping, game credits, dining, digital subscriptions, mobile top ups, as well as send money with other Boost users and use the “Go Dutch” split bills feature.

Boost is available for free from Google Play and the App Store. Visit www.myboost.com.my for more information.
