TV content will be uploaded to Tonton’s system within two hours after the programs are aired on TV.

Only now it isn’t a mere idiot box but a smart device with a multitude of rich features, content and interactivity. This shift is seeing tremendous growth. Jimmy Tan, Samsung Malaysia Business Director said today, that sales of SMART TVs account for over 30% of overall TV sales for Samsung.

Samsung is the current leader in SMART TVs in Malaysia, holding some 35-40% market share.
