Key features and specs
The Galaxy Z Flip folds down into a compact, pocketable device with a tiny 1.1-inch Super AMOLED display on the front. When you flip the top cover open and you’ll find a 6.7-inch FHD+ Infinity Flex Display—a Dynamic AMOLED screen with a 21.9:9 screen ratio that features a punch-hole camera. Instead of a plastic OLED screen, the Galaxy Z Flip boasts a flexible glass display.
The Galaxy Z Flip also features a new Hideway Hinge which is robust and also allows the device to stay open at a range of angles.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Flip features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chip, one of the most powerful SoCs in the market, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
The dual-camera setup on the back consists of a 12MP f/1.7 wide-angle with Super Speed Dual Pixel AF and OIS, and 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle cameras, while the front camera is a 10MP f/2.4 unit.
Keeping things juiced is a 3,300mAh battery that supports 15W fast-charging via USB-C as well as wireless Qi charging.
It’s available in Mirror Purple, Mirror Black, and Mirror Gold.
