Samsung Galaxy S8

Samsung has just unveiled its two latest smartphones – the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. US telcos and retailers have started to share details on how to purchase these new flagship devices. Pre-orders for either device from the big four US telcos start tomorrow, 12:01AM ET, 30 March 2017.

The phones officially go on sale from 21 April.

Verizon

Pre-order customers will receive a free Gear VR with Controller and Oculus content pack. You can also opt for a USD99 “Experience Box” with Gear VR and Controller, Harman Kardon headphones, and 256GB microSD card.

  • Galaxy S8 – USD720 (retail)
    Monthly plan – USD30/month for 24 months
  • Galaxy S8+ – USD840 (retail)
    Monthly plan – USD35/month for 24 months

AT&T

Pre-order customers receive free Gear VR with Controller and Oculus content pack.

  • Galaxy S8 – USD750 (retail)
    AT&T Next – USD25/month for 30 months
    AT&T Next Every Year USD31.25/month for 24 months
  • Galaxy S8+ – USD850 (retail)
    AT&T Next – USD28.34/month for 30 months\
    AT&T Next Every Year USD35.42/month for 24 months

T-Mobile

Pre-order customers receive free Gear VR with Controller and Oculus game pack. T-Mobile @Work customers get free DeX desktop dock with in-store pre-order.

  • Galaxy S8 – USD750 (retail) or USD729 at MetroPCS
    Monthly – USD30 downpayment + USD30/month for 24 months
    Jump! On Demand – USD0 down + USD33/month for 24 months
  • Galaxy S8+ – USD850 (retail)
    Monthly – USD130 downpayment + USD30/month for 24 months
    Jump! On Demand – same as monthly instalments
