The biggest smartphone maker in the world, Samsung, is set to release the Samsung GALAXY Note in Asia (and soon Malaysia). Imagine a smartphone that doesn’t really have a classification. One that’s unique, do-in-one device that delivers a whole new experience in a mobile device. One that has its very own world tour (imagine that!) and has impressed users all over Europe. The GALAXY Note is a result of qualitative research conducted by the Korean electronics giant back in 2010 involving over 12,000 smartphone users from 9 countries (US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, China, Hong Kong and Singapore). Samsung found that a smartphone user will generally carry 2.7 mobile devices to meet various needs in web browsing, email, games, music, photos/videos, just to name a few.

The Samsung GALAXY Note features a 5.3″ HD Super AMOLED display, a uniquely immersive viewing experience and input versatility with the S Pen, unmatched performance with its 1.4Ghz dual-core processor, and amazing portability being only 9.65mm thin and as light as 178g. The Note runs Google Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 release.

Upon introducing the concept of a “do-in-one” device, a staggering 80% of smartphone advanced and regular users expressed keen interests to own a single tool that consolidates various device functions into a single device while performing more tasks on the go and switching less.

In a nutshell, the Samsung GALAXY Note is the first mobile device to combine core on-the-go functionality with innovative free capture and creation capabilities in one elegant, portable device. It eliminates the need to carry more than one mobile device as well as a paper notepad and pen.
