If you’re looking for real endurance on a phone, the latest realme C12, armed with a 6,000mAh battery, may be your best bet. The livewire device goes on sale online today, 25 August on Lazada, together with the MY59 realme Buds Classic earphones.

According to internal tests, the realme C12 recorded an astonishing 57 days of battery life in standby mode. The massive 6,000mAh battery will allow you to stay on call continuously for 46 hours or play 30 rounds of PUBG. It’s also enough to let you listen to 1,200 songs or watch 18.6 movies online.

The 6,000mAh cell is aided by various power management features such as App Quick Freeze, Screen Battery Optimisation and Super Power Saving mode to enhance battery life.

What’s cool is that the realme C12 also supports reverse charging and will happily charge other devices that are low on juice.

The realme C12’s Pixel-inspired design looks good, complemented by what realme calls “Geometric Gradient Design.” The back features a special reflective light effect achieved using a German precise five-axis radium engraving machine. It comes in Marine Blue and Coral Red colour options.

The 6.5-inch HD+ display (720×1560) houses a tiny punch hole 5MP selfie camera. Speaking of which, the phone comes with a triple camera setup comprising a 13MP f/2.2 main shooter with PDAF, 2MP f/2.4 B&W monochrome camera, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro lens. The camera system is capable of 4x digital zoom.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G35, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage (with microSD expansion via its triple card tray).

Biometric authentication options include a fast rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and facial recognition.

The realme C12 comes bundled with the realme Buds Classic wired earphones, featuring a semi in-ear design and 14.2mm drivers. It offers an in-line HD mic and a single button that controls music playback and calls.
