Realme 3 now in Malaysia

Realme Malaysia today launched the realme 3. Targeted at the young, trendy generation, the realme 3 is a step up from its predecessor, featuring a gradient unibody design and at an accessible price point. In conjunction with Lazada Malaysia’s 7th Birthday Sale on 27 March 2019, Realme 3 (3GB RAM + 32GB storage) will be offered at an exclusive discount.

The realme series, since its introduction in 2018, has sold over 5 million units worldwide. The upstart hopes to build on the success of the realme 2, realme 2 Pro and realme C1 for 2019.

The realme 3 features a gradient unibody design and is offered in Dynamic Black (black/blue) and Radiant Blue (blue/purple) colourways.

The phone rocks a 6.22-inch HD+ display (720×1520) with a dewdrop notch, boasting an 88.3 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Under the hood, the realme 3 is powered by the 12nm octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 chipset coupled with either 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage or 4GB RAM + 64GB of storage. Storage is expandable with microSD. The dual-SIM device packs a triple slot that supports 4G VoLTE.

It is equipped with a large 4,230mAh battery that charges via conventional micro-USB.

Optics-wise, the realme 3 sports a 13MP f/1.8 + 2MP dual-camera setup enhanced with AI scene recognition, AI Chroma Boost mode and support for Nightscape mode (night mode). The front gets a 13MP selfie shooter.

The realme 3 runs ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie.
