Razer and Bungie to release Destiny 2 premium gear

Razer Destiny 2 Premium Gear

Two of the world’s biggest gaming brands – Razer and Bungie fist-bump to bring Destiny 2-theme premium gear to gamers. The upcoming MMO title, published and distributed by Activision, will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Destiny 2-themed products will include Razer DeathAdder Elite gaming mouse; the Razer Ornata Chroma mechanical gaming keyboard; the Razer ManO’War Tournament Edition headset; and Razer Goliathus Speed, the soft gaming mouse mat.

Rally the troops

Announced in March this year, Destiny 2 is the sequel to the 2014 MMO hit Destiny, which set records as the largest new console video game franchise launch in history.

Following three years of expansion packs and content patches, Destiny 2 gives Bungie the opportunity for a fresh restart. Amongst other things, existing players will lose their weapons, armour and other collectibles.

The storyline will see the Guardians – the last defenders of humanity, also stripped of their powers. Bungie has said the main campaign will be longer than any in the series and will feature more cinematics and “story missions.”

Next, there will also be notable updates include varied quality-of-life improvements and the introduction of the most requested feature: match-making. Additionally, there’s a new feature called Guided Games which will allow solo players to link up with others in pre-existing clans to fill in line-up gaps.

Pricing and availability

Razer’s Destiny 2 gear will go on sale this September on Razerzone.com and in retail channels globally.

Destiny 2 will launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC on 8 September 2017. An open-access beta will be made available later this summer. You can pre-order now for USD99.99/MYR431.
