Mention Amy Search, and you’re likely to be transported back through time (OK, now you know which generation I’m from!). The legendary rock star is a living Malaysian icon, and has rocked our lives for several decades already. Amy’s soulful wails in Isabella, Fantasia Bulan Madu, Fenomena and more, can still be heard on Spotify lists (definitely on mine), radio and karaoke joints. Celebrating the expansive Galaxy J Series, Samsung Malaysia Electronics has enlisted Amy Search to be part of a music-driven campaign.

Who better than to have the rock star record an original song made exclusively for the Galaxy J Series?

The concept of the song and music video encircles around life’s short and sweet moments.

The result – possibly the shortest music video ever recorded by Amy Search, and in the history of Malaysia’s music scene. On the track, Amy croons on how cherished memories shared among friends will always stay in our hearts and phones, thanks to the Galaxy J Series.

“Music is my life and through music is how I speak to my fans. It was definitely fun to create the shortest song in my career especially for the Galaxy J Series!” said Amy.

Amy burst into the Malaysian rock music scene in 1981. He served as both lead vocalist and producer of this band, Search. He has garnered numerous awards under the category Best Rock Album and Best Vocal Performance in Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM) from 1989 to 2001.
