P1 Teams Up with Universal Studios for Fast and Furious 5 Movie Premiere

“There is a huge brand synergy showcased in this campaign in terms of speed, strength and being a challenger. This triggered the conceptualization of the association between P1 4G and Fast 5. The objectives of this co-branded campaign are to tap into the popularity of the enormously successful US$2 billion Hollywood Blockbuster movie franchise and target the audience that it attracts. The charismatic CEO added that P1 customers download an average of 12GB of data per month and that’s equivalent to 3000 song downloads or 12 DVD quality movies. Since beginning its operations two and a half years ago, P1 has secured over 280,000 customers as at January 2011.

The Furiously Stronger, Wider and Faster campaign offers an exciting competition for new P1 4G subscribers to both P1 4G Home and On-The-Go packages. Fantastic prizes range from 5-star luxury holiday packages for two to Hong Kong, Bali and Phuket, iPads, netbooks to cool digital cameras. Other prizes include exclusive tickets to the screening of the Fast 5 movie plus limited edition Fast 5 merchandize. Contest mechanics are simple.
