One of the cheapest OPPO devices is in town for under MYR600

OPPO A71k

After the OPPO A71 made a comeback with bigger storage last week, OPPO Malaysia is bringing another variant to consumers. The OPPO A71k is a lower spec-ed A71, offered at an even lower price tag.

If you’re on a budget and like the OPPO’s A series, then you’ll be chuffed that the OPPO A71k costs only MYR599.

It features the same metal unibody of its more expensive sibling, available in Gold, Black and Blue.

It’s powered by the same octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chip but packs less memory and storage. The A71k features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, with support for microSD expansion (up to 256GB).

Like the A71, it does not come with a fingerprint scanner, nor physical home button. Instead it has capacitive keys and unlocking the phone is via Face Unlock or conventional password/PIN/pattern.

It rocks a 5.2-inch HD display (1280×720) and runs ColorOS 3.1 based on Android 7.1 Nougat.

In terms of camera, it packs a 13MP f/2.2 main shooter and a 5MP f/2.4 selfie camera, paired naturally with A.I. Beauty Technology.

The OPPO A71k is available from the OPPO Online Store as well as OPPO Concept Stores nationwide.
