It isn’t just a fruity-named brand that has queues at its product launches, as droves of people were spotted queueing up at the new Samsung Experience Store in The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur, to purchase the Samsung GALAXY Note 3

On the first day of the GALAXY Note 3 going on sale, a crowd built up at the store as early as 7.00am. The first to purchase the device was Rose Sum Moy Kwai.

“I arrived at the store at 7.05am and realised I was the first there. I was afraid to leave the area and give away my spot. I’m thrilled to be the first person to purchase the GALAXY Note 3 here,” said Rose.

“Previously, I was using the GALAXY Note 2 as I like large screens. As a GALAXY Note fan, I’m impressed with the large screen and the crystal clear camera of the GALAXY Note 3. I can’t wait to take pictures with this!”

Launched just last week, Samsung GALAXY Note 3 is the successor to the critically-acclaimed GALAXY Note 2 which sold 5 million units in just 2 months of its launch.

The new GALAXY Note 3 packs a 2.3Ghz quad-core processor with an unprecedented 3GB RAM for seamless multitasking and performance.

Customers who purchase the GALAXY Note 3 from 25 September to 4 October stand a chance to win one of 500 units of GALAXY Gear through a lucky draw. Consumers can also purchase the new ‘phablet’ device at the Samsung roadshow happening at the concourse of The Gardens Mall from 25–29 September.
