Nokia has released the latest addition to the Asha family – the Nokia Asha 503, also the first 3.5G model in its affordable smartphone range. The pocket- and budget-friendly device went on sale in Malaysia last Friday, at a price of RM319 (SRP).
The Asha 503 features the signature Asha layered design and a scratch-resistant, curved Gorilla Glass 2 screen, another first in the Asha series. The new smartphone is packed with a 5MP camera with LED flash, and features the innovative Fastlane home screen, now even more integrated with social networks.
The Asha 503 is available in single SIM and Easy Swap Dual SIM variants.
The Asha 503 features a full-touch display and fully redesigned UI. You’ll be impressed with the fluid, gesture-driven interface.
Integrated camera filters and photo editing apps like Picfeed, Pictag, Photofunia (downloadable for free from the Nokia Store) make photo-taking and social photo-sharing easy on the Asha platform.
Impressively, the Asha 503 also includes a 4GB microSD card, and can be expanded to up to 32GB of additional memory.
Fastlane is Asha’s unique second screen that is a shortcut to recently accessed apps, features and content, as well as activity like calendar appointments. It’s a fast track to accessing an app in its last state, as well as acting as a social hub for all your social network live updates.
Thousands of apps, games and content are available on the Nokia Store with major apps like WhatsApp, WeChat, Line, eBuddy and Nimbuzz available for download.
