If battery life is what you’re looking for in a smartphone, then the Nokia 2 may be exactly what you need, for little money. HMD Global has announced that the livewire device is now available in Malaysia for an accessible price of MYR429.
The Nokia 2 features a sleek frame that’s precision-machined from a single block of aluminium while the back is sculpted polycarbonate.
On the front is a 5-inch HD LTPS LCD display (1280xx720) protected by Gorilla Glass.
Under the hood, it rocks a Qualcomm Snapdragon Mobile Platform chip, coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage (upgradable to 128GB via microSD).
In the camera department, it’s not too shabby either. The rear gets an 8MP main shooter with auto scene detection and autofocus, while the front gets a 5MP selfie shooter.
Storage is always ample thanks to the unlimited photo and video uploads to Google Photos, or you can plug in a microSD card.
The killer feature of the phone is the massive 4,100mAh battery that Nokia says will keep you going for up to two days on a single charge.
