#MyCyberSale: ASUS slashes prices of ZenFone 3 Max 5.2 and ZenFone Live

ASUS Malaysia is the next smartphone maker to participate in the annual #MyCyberSale shopping campaign. Two of its older ZenFone 3 models—the ZenFone 3 Max 5.2 and ZenFone Live are getting big price cuts.

ZenFone 3 Max

If battery life is crucial for you, then the livewire ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL) will be perfect. The device packs an enormous high-capacity 4100mAh battery that will give you up to 30 days of standby, 20 hours of talk time on 3G, 20 hours of Wi-Fi browsing on 4G LTE, 87 hours of music playback or 15 hours of video playback.

Yes, it’s pretty epic. Not only that, it can act as a powerbank to aid other meek smartphones in need via OTG.

ASUS ZenFone 3 Max

Boasting a premium design and an all-round metal finish, the ZenFone 3 Max has 2.5D contoured glass and packs a 5.2-inch HD IPS display. It has a thin 2.25mm bezel, boasting a remarkable 75% screen-to-body ratio.

Under the hood, it has a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. Storage is expandable up to 32GB via microSD.

It rocks a 13MP f/2.2 main shooter with autofocus and LED flash, and a 5MP f/2.0 selfie shooter.

It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and as mentioned a large 4,100mah battery.

The ZenFone 3 Max now goes for MYR699 (SRP: MYR799). With each unit, ASUS is bundling a ZenPower 10,050mAh powerbank, ASUS Zenny t-shirt,  Zenny notebook and 16GB microSD card.

The ZenFone Live (ZB501KL) is ASUS’ first smartphone that supports hardware-optimised, real-time beautification features for live-streaming. It also features dual-mic technology that reduces background noise and enhances voice pickup. It also boasts good audio through an innovative five-magnet speaker system with smart amp.

It rocks a 5-inch IPS HD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 410 chip with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

It has a 13MP main camera and a 5MP selfie shooter with soft flash.

The ZenFone Live has a 2,650mAh battery and charges via conventional micro-USB.

ASUS is bundling a free ASUS ZenPower 10,050mAh powerbank, ASUS Zenny t-shirt and a selfie stick with each purchase.
