According to Gaurav Bhasin, CEO of Mudah.my Sdn Bhd, this represents a tremendous opportunity for the brand to become the leading platform to buy a home, find a place to rent, or help owners buy or sell theirs.

Mudah.my is currently the second most visited property site, behind iProperty, with over 801,000 unique visitors per month (ComScore data: May 2017). These visitors account for a total of 33 million total minutes spent on the site.

To help propel it to a leadership position, it reckons it needs to keep things simple for the user, and harness big data and machine learning to power better search and recommendations.

Mudah Property can help users research, find or sell their homes, thanks to the thousands of updated listings with current market prices across the country.

Mudah.my currently has over 290,000 properties for sale or rent. Additionally, the platform is also a great place to find home-related services. Whether you’re furnishing your home or looking to renovate, you’ll be able to find what you need in one convenient place.

There’s currently over 170,000 listings under the home category (furniture, bed and bath, furnishings and kitchen appliances); with over 10,000 listings (TV and audio); and over 60,000 listings for services (air-conditioning, plumbing and renovation works).

An important thing to note is that quality listings are crucial to ensure a great buying-selling experience for users. As such, listings go through a stringent review process that reduces duplicate listings, but also highlights verified agents. Also, all property listings come with a 60 days expiry.

To encourage and inspire users, especially first homeowners and fresh graduates to find their dream homes with ease, Mudah.my has collaborated with actress and singer Ayda Jebat.

The collaboration involves a catchy song called Eazy Peazy, exclusively written by the legendary Sasi the Don for the campaign and delivered by Ayda Jebat featuring Aman Ra.

Eazy Peazy is complemented with a four-minute music video that encapsulates the convenience and ease-of-use of Mudah Property.

Mudah.my said that Ayda Jebat was a natural fit for the collaboration, as she was already a fan of the site. She remarked during the launch that she was introduced to the platform by her younger brother. She added that the most expensive thing she’d ever bought on Mudah.my was a car.
