MSI debuts first custom NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs

MSI GeForce RTX 30 Series

MSI is first out of the gate to announce custom graphic cards based on NVIDIA’s just-launched new generation GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs. The second generation of RTX represents the “greatest innovation leap in the history of gaming GPUs,” says NVIDIA. MSI will roll out two RTX 30 Series-based product lines—the flagship Gaming Trio and mainstream Ventus series.

The Gaming Trio will feature MSI’s new TORX Fan 4.0 design and updated TRI FROZR 2 cooling system. A mate finish back plate reinforces the graphics card and provides passive cooling through the implementation of thermal pads.

Mystic Light RGB lighting adorns the exterior of the GPU, working via Mystic Light Sync and Ambient Link; controlled with the Dragon Center software utility.

Both the Gaming Trio and Ventus series product lines will offer all three GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs across the board namely RTX 3090, 3080 and 3070.

NVIDIA’s Ampere-powered cards feature new RT Cores, Tensor Cores, and streaming multiprocessors, delivering performance gains of up to 1.9X performance-per-watt over previous generation Turing cards.

The Titan-class RTX 3090 can power 8K gaming at 60fps.

MSI is hosting a livestream of their new cards at 10.00PM (GMT +8 / MYT) today, 2 September. Stay tuned for updates and more information.
