The Lazada 11.11 Shopping Festival promises to be even bigger, even better this year as it welcomes 16 global and local brands exclusive to Lazada Malaysia. Shoppers can expect a smoother, more rewarding shopping experience with the Lazada Wallet, Mesti Beli deals, Chup Dulu to reserve items; star-studded multi-screen 11.11 Super Show starting global K-pop sensation, Apink and other local and international acts; and the first-ever four-hour GUESS IT! King live-streamed gameshow as well as other new in-app Shoppertainment features.
Since the introduction of the global annual shopping festival in 2012, Lazada has made 11.11 one of the key industry growth drivers. The annual festival has played a significant role in the boom of the Malaysian e-commerce industry, set to contribute over MYR100 billion to the Malaysian GDP by 2020.

The upcoming 11.11 sale will see 16 exclusive international and local brands embracing the marketplace, tapping into Lazada’s database of shoppers. The brands include, Apple, Benefit Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Coocaa, Dyson, Estée Lauder, Future of Wellness, KOSE, MAC Cosmetics, Origins, Offspring, Senheng, Shiseido, Viewnet, and VTech Electronics.
The Wallet that pays
Lazada contributes to aggressively push the adoption of its e-wallet, offering attractive cashback for its shoppers. And the move is paying off. Lazada Wallet saw a 14x increase in usage during the recent 9.9 Big Discovery Sale compared to the same period last year.
For 11.11, the Lazada Wallet will offer 100 percent cashback for the first 111 users who top up MYR111 from 1 to 6 November. You also stand to win Lazada Wallet credits of up to MYR1,111 when you top up between 7-10 November and spend on 11.11.

As a follow up to Lazada’s collaboration with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (MDTCA) for its Buy Malaysia Campaign, this year’s 11.11 festival will also feature heritage products from rural farmers, through a collaboration with The Desa Project. The initiative by four local digital entrepreneurs was inspired by the Taobao Village mode in China during their stint at Alibaba’s Netpreneur Training programme, organised in collaboration with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).
Lazada Malaysia will host the Desaku Flagship Store on LazMall, selling local product including Orang Asli organic rice, Sempalit peanuts, Bentong soy sauce, and Bentong ginger powder.
