What happens when a hardcore gaming device and software company gets intimate with a boutique supercar maker? Well, you get a match made in heaven of course. Razer has partnered with Swedish supercar manufacturer Koenigsegg to produce a series of not-for-sale Koenigsegg limited edition Razer notebooks. Drooling just yet?
Koenigsegg seems to have found its doppelgänger in gaming company Razer, who shares the same love for extreme functionality and fun.
The collaboration has seen Razer’s in-house scientists and engineers in San Francisco work closely with Koenigsegg’s headquarters based in Ängelholm, Sweden.
The fruits of labour will be the ultimate not-for-sale limited edition Blade notebook series boasting ultimate power beneath the ultra-thin CNC-machined chassis and exuding unmistakable Koenigsegg DNA.
The Koenigsegg Razer Blade will be unveiled at the upcoming Geneva International Motor Show in March 2014. A lucky few will also get to drive virtual Agera R’s on the notebooks at the most extreme settings, to show of its performance.
To celebrate the inauguration of the Koenigsegg-Razer relationship, Razer will be giving away two Koenigsegg Razer Blades. Visit www.razerzone.com/koenigsegg and www.razerzone.com/koenigsegg-cn for more info.
