Huawei nova 3 Primrose Gold is available today

Huawei nova 3 Primrose Gold

After bringing the Huawei nova 3 to Malaysia in July this year, Huawei is now making available the exclusive Primrose Gold Edition today, 27 September.

Huawei says, “The exclusive Primrose Gold edition is the testament to our passion of curating fresh new styles and looks for our customers.”

Primrose Gold aside, the Huawei nova 3 is also available in Iris Purple, Black and Red.

To recap, the Huawei nova 3 is the top-of-the-line model in the nova line-up. As I mentioned in the original announcement post, the device punches well above its weight. It is in fact, pretty much a P20 minus the Leica badge.

It has the top-rung Kirin 970 chipset with NPU, mated to a generous 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

A 3,750mAh battery keeps the device juiced the entire day, and it charges via USB Type-C with support for 9V/5A fast-charging.

Optics-wise, the nova 3 impresses, packing a 16MP + 24MP f/1.8 dual-camera setup on the rear, while the front gets a 24MP + 2MP selfie shooter on the front.

Thanks to the Kirin 970 and NPU, the nova 3 also gets the benefits of AI-assisted, intelligent photography modes.

AI also makes face beautification, 3D facial recognition, scene and object recognition, 3D Portrait Lighting, and 3D Qmoji possible.

The camera system also has Light Fusion technology – some clever tech that combines four pixels into a large super pixel for better brightness and less noise.

The device features a notched 6.3-inch Full HD+ display (2340×1080) with a 19.5:9 screen aspect ratio.

Huawei nova 3 Primrose Gold pricing and availability
