Honor x DJI tie-up makes for cheaper View10 and DJI OSMO Mobile 2

honor View10

Honor recently announced a tie-up with DJI, the world’s leading drone maker, coinciding with the introduction of the honor View10 flagship smartphone. The View10 is honor’s first true “AI phone” powered by the intelligent Kirin 970 chipset.

It’s an intriguing partnership, and one that’s quite unexpected, in a good way.

The partnership kicks off with an exclusive Purchase with Purchase (PWP) program. Buyers of the honor View10 will receive a MYR60 voucher for the upcoming DJI OSMO Mobile 2.

The OSMO Mobile 2 is expected to debut in Malaysia in early March and will sell for MYR588. With the discount voucher, you can take home the new generation DJI gimbal for MYR528.

Next, for buyers of the DJI Spark Fly More Combo (SRP: MYR2,988), they will receive a MYR200 voucher for the honor View10.

The PWP program will end on 31 March 2018 and thus all vouchers will be valid till this date.

The honor View10 is honor’s latest flagship device that boasts a premium metal unibody and super slim profile. It’s the second “FullView” display device, rocking a 5.99-inch FHD+ (2160×1080) display.

Under the hood, the powerful 10nm octa-core Kirin 970 with an NPU (neural processing unit), coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

The dual-camera setup on the rear consists of a 20MP (mono) + 16MP (RGB) f/1.8 sensors, while the front packs a 13MP unit.

Keeping it juiced is a large 3,750mAh battery that supports 5V/4.5A honor Supercharge via USB Type-C.

An impressive device that retails for MYR2,099 and comes in Blue, Black and Crush Red.
