FC Barcelona star footballer and four-time Ballon d’Or (FIFA World Player of the Year) award winner Lionel Messi is now one of Huawei’s Global Brand Ambassadors. Messi joins a star-studded line-up of ambassadors including Robert Lewandowski and Alexis Sanchez.
Huawei says its partnership with the legendary footballer showcases its alignment with people and brands that strive for excellence and greatness.
Messi’s journey as an individual and professional footballer has been an inspiration to all over the world.
He said, “You have to fight to reach your dream. You have to sacrifice and go all in, always looking forward to achieving greatness. The day you think there are no improvements to be made, you have to keep working for reaching other achievements.”
The monetary value of Messi’s ambassadorship was not revealed.
