The new ZenPad exudes understated elegance and stylish appeal. It’s still unmistakably Zen-like, though now won’t feel like a stranger alongside a tux or dinner gown. Clean lines with a polished metal frame and elegant embossed leather patterning makes it an accessory you’d want to be seen with. It’s also slim at 8.5mm thin and light at 350g.

Thanks to minimum bezel, the ZenPad 8.0 has an remarkable 76.5% screen-to-body ratio. That means you get a big display without a big footprint. The 8-inch WXGA (1280×800) IPS panel with 10 finger multi-touch support is bright, enhanced by ASUS Tru2Life Technology. It’s protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 1 and comes with anti-fingerprint coating and full lamination.
Under the hood, the ZenPad 8.0 (ZE380KL) gets the services of the 64-bit Qualcomm 615 (MSM8929) octa-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM and the Adreno 405 GPU. Built-in storage is 16GB, complemented by 5GB life time ASUS Webstorage space and 100GB of Google Drive cloud storage for two years.
In terms of connectivity, the tablet supports 2G/3G/4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and Miracast.
Camera optics-wise, the ZenPad 8.0 packs an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and PixelMaster technology. Meanwhile, on the front, it get a 2MP unit.
