Google has unveiled an interactive Doodle to mark the 66th anniversary of the Roswell UFO incident. The latest doodle is a quick adventure game where you must help a crash-landed alien return home (and no, you do not get to run experiments on it). When you successfully complete this task and make all humankind proud, Google provides users with the search results for “Roswell UFO incident.”

Brilliant, as usual, Google.

Note: The doodle only appears on Google.ca and not other Google search sites.

The famous Roswell UFO incident took place in the US in 1947. An airborne object crashed on a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico on July 7, 1947. The US government attributed the crash to a US military surveillance balloon, one purportedly from a high-classified program called Mogul. However, the controversial crash is believed to be of an alien spacecraft containing extraterrestrial life, that were subsequently captured and experimented on.

Since then, Roswell has been synonymous with UFOs. I believe in aliens, do you?
