OPPO is aggressively pushing its latest device to the hands on consumers with some sumptuous deals, partnering with the major telcos. After Maxis, the China smartphone maker has buddied up with Celcom to offer a free OPPO Reno2when you subscribe to the Celcom Mobile Platinum Plus plan.

If that isn’t enticing enough, you’ll also get an exclusive Reno bag worth MYR199.

The Platinum Plus plan gives you 100GB of monthly internet data, free 100GB of Super Video Walla data, unlimited calls to all networks and unlimited WhatsApp & WeChat. The 24-month plan is priced at MYR188 per month. Note that there’s upfront payment of MYR1,200 which will be rebated to your first bill.

OPPO Reno2 Celcom plan

If you don’t need as much data, you can opt for lower Platinum (60GB), Gold Supreme (50GB), and Gold Plus (40GB) plans.

As an alternative, Celcom also offers the Reno2 through its EasyPhone Own or Rent programme where you can pick up Reno2 from as low as MYR52 per month on a rental basis, or MYR62 per month on an own basis.

Note that autodialling via credit card is a mandatory requirement for EasyPhone.

To recap, the OPPO Reno2 comes with a notchless 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that boasts an extraordinary 93.1 percent screen-to-body-ratio.

It comes with a quad-camera system consisting of a 48MP f/1.7 (Sony IMX586) main shooter with OIS and EIS; 13MP telephoto; 8MP wide-angle; and 2MP mono lens cameras. The camera setup is capable of 5x Hybrid Zoom and up to 20x Digital Zoom.

The front 16MP camera is housed within the familiar Shark Fin pop-up module.

The smartphone features the Snapdragon 730G processor paired to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

It packs a 4,000mAh battery that supports VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 and it comes with a USB-C port.

It retails for MYR2,299 and comes in Black or Pink.
