By now we’re more than familiar with platforms like Uber, Grab and airBnB. Peer-to-peer fulfilment services that offer great service, with app-driven systems that are fast and convenient. Well now, there’s a low-cost peer-to-peer parcel courier service in Malaysia that aims to redefine the local courier segment – ezyCourier.
ezyCourier has operations in Hong Kong, Serbia and Vietnam, and now Malaysia. In a nutshell, it is a service that connects people who need parcels delivered anywhere in the Southeast Asia. It matches this demand with people who are willing to deliver them, for a small fee. There’s no middle men involved, and the process is conveniently powered by the ezyCourier mobile app.
The service was launched by MCMC’s Chief of Communication, Digital Services and Standards, Dato’ Mohd Ali Hanafiah Mohd Yunus, and Director of ezyCourier Malaysia, John Gun at the Malaysia IT Fair 2016, at MidValley Exhibition Centre.
ezyCourier Malaysia now joins 100 other licensed courier operators in the country, issued by MCMC.
The cool thing about ezyCourier is that agents are not limited to commuting via cars and motorcycles, but also possible via cycling or walking. Like how Uber screens potential drivers before they are accepted as Uber partners, ezyCourier undergoes a similar vetting process.
It’s great for people who want to start earning some extra cash. There’s no quota for how many trips or deliveries you need to make, so its uber flexible. You decide when you want to work and how much you want to earn.

The service kicks off in Klang Valley first, and will expand to other locations in the future. It offers 2-hour deliveries in the Klang Valley, from as low as MYR6.
