Evernote, everyone’s favourite multi-purpose productivity app on Mac, PC, iOS, Android and Windows Phone, has announced that its Web Clipper tool for Chrome can now clip information from Gmail.

The nifty Evernote Web Clipper allows you to save almost anything you find on the web, saved as a note. All info is store on Evernote – text, full articles, entire webpages and more. These are available on all your devices. The Web Clipper is available on Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

I use Evernote on a daily basis, and I happen to use the Web Clipper tool on Chrome, too. I use it mostly for research, and also to clip articles and webpages I need for reference later.

Web Clipper helps you save time sorting your emails. Clip your email into a notebook of you choice and assign any relevant tags. You can easily recall all conversations, images or attachments with a few easy clicks.

Web Clipper is complemented by the recent Reminders update which allows you to immediately set to-do lists, alarms, and footnotes to any tasks you need to do that arrive in your emails.

Evernote Premium and Evernote Business users will enjoy extended features of Web Clipper. Content in attached documents, spreadsheets and PDFs are searchable.

Download the Web Clipper for Chrome now and start Clipping from Gmail.
