2018 Galaxy A6 + A6+

The 2018 Galaxy A6 and A6+ are Samsung’s premium mid-range smartphones with powerful cameras and near bezel-less Infinity Displays. For a limited time, Samsung Malaysia is offering to double the storage when you purchase either model.

From 6 July till 5 August 2018, every purchase of a new Galaxy A6 or A6+ will entitle you to an additional 32GB microSD card to complement the onboard 32GB storage. Whilst stocks last.

That aside, you can even trade in your old phone to get MYR100 off the new Galaxy A6+. Terms and conditions apply.

Participating outlets include Samsung Experience Stores, Samsung Premium Partners, Samsung Experience Partners and other authorised Samsung retailers.

As a quick recap, the Galaxy A6+ packs a 6-inch FHD+ (1080×2220) Super AMOLED Infinity Display, 16MP (f/1.7) + 5MP (f/1.9) dual-camera system on the rear and a 24MP f/1.9 selfie shooter. The dual-SIM device comes with a 3,500mAh battery and also gets Dolby Atmos audio.

2018 Galaxy A6+

Meanwhile, the smaller sibling Galaxy A6 sports a 5.6-inch HD (720×1480) Super AMOLED Infinity Display with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It gets a more basic single 16MP f/1.7 main shooter while the front features a 16MP fixed focus f/1.9 unit. The dual-SIM device gets a smaller 3,000mAh battery.

Both devices support Bixby Vision, Bixby Home and Reminder, and run Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.

The Galaxy A6 retails for MYR999 while the Galaxy A6+ is priced at MYR1,299.
