Digi and Senheng launch co-branded prepaid plans

PlusOne Connect

Digi and Senheng have partnered to launch an affordable, first-of-its-kind co-branded prepaid product—PlusOne Connect. The prepaid plan will exclusively be available at all 104 Senheng and senQ outlets across Malaysia starting today, 7 October 2020.

PlusOne Connect will run on Digi’s 4G LTE network and will offer a range of 30-day plans. Starting from as low as MYR28, you will enjoy 6GB of high-speed internet data and unlimited social media access to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

That’s not all, as a PlusOne member, you stand to enjoy additional benefits such as unlimited calls to other members as well as earn Senheng’s 10 per cent EZ Credit Rebate, redeemable against any electrical products at Senheng or senQ stores.

As part of an introductory offer, customers will get 30 per cent EZ credit rebate.

To enjoy EZ credit rebate points, customers must have a PlusOne membership. Sign-ups can be done in-store. Subsequently, subscribers can download the Senheng app, login and check their points.

For a limited time only, customers can unlock free 10GB data quota upon subscription to any of the 30-day plans. This 10GB bonus can be redeemed up to a maximum of 10 times. The bonus data can be used between 1PM to 7PM daily.

On the surface, the co-branded plans seem to be based on Digi’s own Prepaid NEXT plans i.e Internet Cili Padi and biGBonus packages minus the Senheng perks, although they do have the benefit of unlimited calls and the limited time 10GB bonus data.

Note that the SIM starter pack will not contain any preloaded value. Senheng staff will assist customers to reload and activate the plan.

Reloads can be done using Digi vouchers (can be purchased at Senheng/senQ/Digi stores), online banking, and credit/debit cards.

According to the official FAQ, PlusOne Connect does not support MNP, so if you’re thinking of porting your existing number, you’re out of luck.

Interestingly, for service and support, the PlusOne Connect page points to Tapp, Digi’s 100 per cent digital telco service.
