Visceral Games, developer of the popular flagship game series Dead Space, will be releasing the third iteration – Dead Space 3 on February 5, 2013. First announced at E3 2012, the game is set on a frozen planet called Tau Volantis, and follows protagonists Isaac Clarke and Sergeant John Carver as they attempt to stop the Necromorph scourge for good.
Working towards the release date, more and more screen pictures and videos (especially trailers) will be released to feed (pun intended) to the momentum of the game.
Recent screenshots released show life-size rifles, toy soldiers, weird labs and equipment, research facilities and more weird and unheard things, far from logical on Earth. Still, this is Tau Volantis, the world of Isaac Clarke and anything is not impossible.
Like in previous Dead Space episodes, the game does come out with a variety of scary, weird and almost impossible and out of this world creatures and weapons to be used in the game play, so no surprises here.
Things certainly do not look friendly and the Necromorphs… seem creepier and bigger too? Wait, something is not right here. Did I see and say toy soldiers?
