The next Activity Challenge for the Apple Watch will be centred around Earth Day on 22 April 2018. Apple has tweaked requirements for the challenge for this year, where you can do “any form of workout for 30 minutes.”

As a reward, you’ll earn an Earth Day achievement badge and unlock a sticker pack for Messages.

Last year, the Earth Day Activity Challenge required users to walk, run, cycle, wheelchair or swim workout of 30 minutes.

Similar to last year, the Earth Day Activity Challenge will go live on 22 April 2018. Some Activity Challenges are limited to certain countries, like the US, although the Earth Day Challenge will be available on a global scale.

Apple has offered plenty of Activity Challenges to encourage users to get active with the Apple Watch. As a reward, Apple lets users unlock special animated Activity stickers that can be shared with Messages.

In March this year though, Apple started offering animated stickers as part of the International Women’s Day challenge.

For Earth Day, Apple will offer three animated Activity stickers – a spinning recycle logo, windmill and a 2018 badge.

In honour of Earth Day, Apple employees in retail stores will don green shirts instead of the traditional navy blue. Apple has also, in the past, marked the environmental-focused global event by adding a green leaf accent to the Apple logo in its retail stores.
