The Bosch brand may not be locally known outside its core business in automotive parts and accessories like spark plugs and brakes. However, little known to Malaysians, Bosch is also in the security equipment field. Bosch Security Systems has just announced the first wave of a slew of new products for small- to medium-sized security applications.

The new range consists of a complete range of cameras, including indoor/outdoor mini domes, integrated domes and bullet cameras and new discrete lipstick-sized cameras (hmm…), IP cameras and domes. The range also includes DVRs (Digital Video Recorders) and small monitors which delivers 24/7 surveillance, especially suited for small- to medium-sized applications such as retails shops and schools.

President of Bosch Security Systems, Gert van Iperen has cited that the new range of security products embodies a new direction for Bosch – offering a range of products which are easy to install and affordable.

Munich – Bosch Security Systems introduces its first wave of products for small- to medium-sized security applications. The new offering is a complete range of cameras including indoor and outdoor mini domes, integrated infrared domes and bullet cameras, plus new discrete lipstick-sized cameras, IP cameras and domes. It also includes DVRs (Digital Video Recorders) and small monitors. The wide range of security cameras delivers perfect 24/7 surveillance. The DVRs ensure stored video is fit for purpose each and every time. The cost-to-performance ratio of new Bosch products is tailored to small- to medium-sized applications such as retail shops and schools.

All products can be purchased directly from the local distributor. Now, there is no need to compromise. Even with a limited budget, people get the same Bosch quality usually specified in critical security projects.
