In a tweet today, AMD gave a first look at the much-awaited “Big Navi”  Radeon RX 6000 series graphics card, powered by AMD RDNA 2 architecture. You can now have a closer look at the design of the card with a new Fortnite Creative Islands multiplayer map in the AMD Battle Arena.

Expectations are high for AMD’s next generation GPU, at the back of NVIDIA’s strong line up of new RTX 3000 Series graphics cards.

AMD’s mid-range RX 5000 series were competent, however the brand has not had a proper flagship to compete with NVIDIA’s top-of-the-line offerings.

Things look like it’s about to change, for the better. At least, here’s hoping.

Alleged enchmark leaks and a Coreteks report have suggested a performance matching the RTX 2080 Ti.

AMD’s tweet showcased the new Radeon RX 6000 series design, with a brand new triple cooler design and twin 8-pin power connectors.

The chipmaker will be officially revealing the ERX 6000 series at a launch event on 28 October.

If you were planning to grab the USD700 RTX 3080 or USD500 RTX 3070, you may want to sit back to see what AMD has up their sleeve.
