ASUS_ROG_G750

First unveiled at the Republic of Gamers (RoG) Computex Taiwan 2013 press conference, the new ASUS ROG G Series G750 gaming notebook is now available to Malaysian gamers. The G Series G750JX packs the latest 4th generation Intel Core i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 700M Series GPUs.

Designed for hardcore gaming over long hours, the G750 features a powerful rear-venting dual exhaust system adapted from previous G Series notebooks.

Audio being a crucial part of the gaming experience, audio output has been enhanced with the inclusion of ASUS SonicMaster technology with ROG AudioWizard sound tuning utility.

In terms of design, the exterior is stealth-like and menacing. To ensure comfort over long hours of gameplay, the G750 has inclined user input and keyboard surface. The backlit keyboard is full-size with long key travel and easy-access directional cluster.

The 17-inch notebook weighs in at 4.5kg with its 8-cell battery in tow. Slightly back-breaking, but more likely than not, this notebook will act more like a desktop replacement than a mobile gaming machine.

The 17″ full HD display (1920 x 1080) has an anti-glare surface to reduce reflection and provide better viewing quality.

Storage-wise, the G750 comes with a 2.5″ 1TB conventional hard drive spinning at 5,400rpm. We would highly recommend upgrading to a SSHD, SSD or a faster conventional hard drive (at least 7,200rpm), though.
