The budget-friendly ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 has been given a price reduction by the Taiwanese maker, down to RM599 from RM649. The pricing is effective from 30 October 2013. The MeMO Pad HD 7 is a stylish 7-inch tablet with a quad-core processor and available in multi-colours.
The ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 features a MediaTek MTK 8125 quad-core processor running at 1.2Ghz, with 1GB RAM and 16GB of storage (expandable to 32GB via microSD). The 7-inch IPS LCD (1280×800) is crisp, with a 170-degree wide viewing angle.
The affordable tablet sports also a 5MP main camera, and a 1.2MP front-facing HD camera. Measuring 196.8 x 120.6 x 10.8mm, the tablet weighs just 302g with a lithium polymer battery that lasts up to 10 hours (with 720p video playback).
The tablet runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, with ASUS Waveshare UI.
The ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 is available in blue, white and grey.
