Former Apple evangelist and founder of online news aggregator Alltop – Guy Kawasaki, has announced the availability of the official Alltop for iPad app. When Alltop first launched in 2008, I tweeted Guy to ask if he had any apps planned for the iPhone/iOS platform, in which he replied, “Nothing planned as yet”. I’m glad he’s decided to finally take the plunge and create one for the No. 1 tablet platform.

The iPad, King of Tablets, has become the ultimate content consumption device. News aggregation has inevitably become part of our daily lives, making way to some really interesting products like Flipboard and Pulse.
