Ultra-affordable Acer Liquid Z410 debuts in Malaysia

The affordable Acer Liquid Z410 hits Malaysian shores.

Acer's latest addition to the Z family is here --- the Acer Liquid Z410, now powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz processor packed in a curved, lightweight and elegant form factor.

The dual-SIM device sports a 4.5-inch HD IPS display (245PPI), encased in a curved exterior measuring only 9.9mm thin and weighing 145g.

The latest Z features a 5MP f/2.4 auto focus main shooter, and a 2MP 80-degree wide angle front camera. The front camera is perfect for selfies and wefies with just a click of the customisable AcerRAPID button on the back of the phone. There's plenty of camera-centric features including Dual Shot, Picture-in-Picture and Video-in-Video. It also supports voice commands so a simple 'Cheese' fires the camera.

The Z410 is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz Mediatek MT6732 processor mated to a Mali 760 GPU, and 1GB RAM. It offers 8GB of storage, also supporting expandable storage of up to 32GB via microSD.

Unprecedented for a phone at this price point, is the inclusion of DTS Studio Sound that enhances the front-facing speaker.

The new device gets 4G LTE (Cat 4) with dual-micro-SIM, complementing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Seen previously in other Z products is AcerEXTEND that allows you to take control of your smartphones via a cable or wirelessly using you Windows-based PC. You can type on your keyboard, drag and drop files and also utilise rich sharing.

The built-in 2,000mAh battery delivers up to 330 minutes talktime, with 400 hours standby time.

The Acer Liquid Z410 runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Acer's Liquid UI.

Pricing and availability

The Acer Liquid Z410 is priced at MYR459 (inclusive of 6% GST) and is available in berry black colour and comes with a 1-year local limited warranty.
