Acer Predator X25

Acer continues to unyieldingly unleash gaming hardware, expanding its Predator portfolio with new desktops, monitors, and accessories. At its next@Acer Global Press Conference in Taipei, Acer released the new ultrafast 360Hz Predator X25 and XB3 Series gaming monitors; refreshed Predator Orion 9000 and Orion 3000 gaming desktops; Nitro 50 gaming desktop; Predator Gaming Chair x OSIM; and Predator Cestus 350 mouse.

Predator X25

The Predator X25 is ready to deliver silky smooth, tear-free animation with its superfast 360Hz G-Sync ready 24.5-inch 1920×1080 IPS panel. With LightSense, the monitor adjusts brightness and colour temperature automatically depending on ambient light to provide you with the best viewing experience. Moreover, AdaptiveLight automatically adjusts the monitor’s backlights to suit the ambient light in the room. Just so you don’t overstrain, ProxiSense will remind you to take a break after a set amount of time spent at the computer.

Acer Predator X25

The monitor is adjustable with -5 to -25 degree tilt, +/- 30 degree swivel, up to 4.7-inch height adjustment and +/- 90 degree pivot.

Predator XB3 Series

Acer’s new Predator XB3 series monitors are G-Sync compatible across the board, offering up to 240Hz refresh rates and up to 4K UHD resolution. The IPS panel delivers a wide 178-degree viewing angle, support for DisplayHDR 400 and a 0.5ms (G to G) response time.

The new Predator XB3 family features Acer AdaptiveLight which helps you stay comfortable during long gaming sessions. Ergonomically designed, they offer tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustment. In addition, RGB LightSense let you choose a variety of different lighting effects including colour, speed, duration, and brightness, and can be set to react to gameplay, music, or video.

The new line consists of the 31.5-inch Predator XB323QK NV, the 27-inch Predator XB273U GS and Predator XB273U GX, plus the 24.5-inch Predator XB253Q GZ.

Predator Orion 9000

For the hardcore gamer, professional gamer or enthusiast with deep pockets, look no further than the refreshed Predator Orion 9000. The ultimate gaming monster delivers extreme performance with up to an Intel Core i9 Extreme Edition processor, dual NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphic cards in SLI mode, up to three 3.5-inch HDDs and two 2.5-inch SSDs with a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C hot swap dock for SSD/HDDs.

Keeping things cool are three 4.7-inch Predator FrostBlade fans that provide up to 16 per cent more airflow and 55 per cent increased static pressure compared to previous generations. Meanwhile, the CPU liquid cooler fan keeps things frosty even if gameplay sizzles. Connectivity is expectedly fast with integrated Killer E31000G and Intel Wi-Fi 6 support.

Overclocking is a touch of a button away. The chassis comes with a convenient headset cradle, handles, and wheels. Additionally, it features an EMI-compliant edge-to-edge tempered glass side panel to showcase the colourful ARGB innards.

Predator Orion 3000

This deceptively small mid-sized gaming tower packs the 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and GeForce RTX 2070 Super GPU. Paired with up to 64GB of 2666MHz DDR4 memory, up to 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD and two 3.5-inch SATA3 hard drives, the Predator Orion 3000 is built for gaming and editing videos.

Two custom-engineered Predator FrostBlade fans keep things frosty, while the lighting on the fans and vertical light bars on the front of the case can be customised with PredatorSense software.

An optional EMI-compliant tempered glass side panel showcases the compact and colour RGB innards.

Meanwhile, built-in Killer E2600 and Intel Wi-Fi 6 delivers ultra-fast, uninterrupted connectivity.

Nitro 50

Powerful performance doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. The Nitro 50 Series desktops promise lag-free gaming and powerful performance with up to the 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and up to the GeForce RTX 2060 Super GPU. These are paired with up to 64GB of 2666MHz DDR4 memory, a 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD, and two 3TB HDDs. Keeping things cool is Predator FrostBlade cooling. The 18-litre chassis features an edgy design and red LEDs.

Predator Cestus 350 mouse

The latest Predator mouse supports five custom profiles and also features preset DPI settings (up to 16,000dpi) to suit varying play styles. Eight programmable buttons let you customise the mouse, powered by the hyper-accurate Pixart 3335 optical sensor. The mouse supports fast wireless connectivity with a polling rate of 1ms/1000Hz for wireless and 0.5ms/2000Hz for wired.

Pricing and availability

The Predator XB3 Series will be available in North America in September starting at USD429.99; in EMEA in August starting at EUR439; and in China in July, starting at CNY2,999.

The Predator Orion 9000 will be available in EMEA in October starting at EUR2,799; and in China in September, starting at CNY20,999.

The Predator Orion 3000 will be available in North America in September starting at USD999.99; in EMEA in August starting at EUR899; and in China in July, starting at CNY8,999.

The Nitro 50 will be available in North America in September starting at USD799.99; in EMEA in August starting at EUR799; and in China in July, starting at CNY4,599.

The Predator Cestus 350 gaming mouse is currently available in North America starting at USD124.99; in EMEA it will be available in Q2, starting at EUR99.
