YOGA Tablet 2 with AnyPen

Wait. The YOGA Tablet 2 isn’t new. But the YOGA Tablet 2 running Windows 8.1 with Lenovo’s AnyPen technology is. If you’ve seen or touched the previous Yoga Tablet, then this wouldn’t unfamiliar to you (yes the one that Ashton built).

The unique asymmetrical designed tablet with a quirky bulky battery cylinder has been quite a hit since its introduction last year. The new Yoga Tablet 2 rides on the success of the previous tablet with several key enhancements. Firstly, the improved kickstand, now supporting Hang mode.

The YOGA Tablet 2 packs an 8-inch Full HD display with AnyPen technology, an Intel Atom Z3745 1.86Ghz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. A microSD card tucked discreetly behind the kickstand allows for storage expansion of up to 64GB.

You’ve seen me mention AnyPen twice. So what is AnyPen?

AnyPen allows for you to use anything with a small electric charge in your hand to work as a stylus. Be a fork, knife, pencil or a carrot (yes, a carrot), AnyPen technology just works. It is mindblowingly good and accurate and adds a whole new level of flexibility to the already multi-talented tablet.

A big win for the YOGA Tablet 2, although it is only available for the Windows version.
