Flex 3

When the yummilicious Yoga 3 Pro came out, many went gaga over its new hinge. Mimicking a watch band, the crazy hinge features some 800 bits and parts that enables the Yoga 3 Pro to do what it does best — go multimode, all 360 degrees.

The watch band hinge, impressive as it is though, puts the price point of the Yoga 3 Pro out of reach for most.

Until now. While it doesn’t have the same snazzy hinge, the entry-level Flex 3 notebook lineup now has Yoga abilities, through a new hinge design. For the first time, Flex owners can now flip their displays all the way around, and put it in Tent or Stand mode.

The Flex 3 comes in 11-, 14- and 15-inch sizes, packing Pentium chips up to fifth generation Intel Core i7. The 14- to 15-inch models get an option of a FHD screen.

The Flex 3 lineup will hit stores in May. Prices start from US$399 for the 11-inch, US$549 for the 14-inch and US$579 for the 15-inch.
