OPPO is set to launch its flagship phablet — the OPPO R7 Plus on 7 July 2015, and we’ve received word it will only be available in a gold colour variant.
The 6-inch OPPO R7 Plus is svelte at just 7.75mm, featuring an impeccably built metal unibody with chamfered edges. It gets a Full HD AMOLED display with 2.5D glass.
Powering the flagship device is the dependable 64-bit Qualcomm octal-core Snapdragon 615 chip mated to 3GB RAM. There’s 32GB of storage out-of-the-box, expandable to 128GB via microSD.
Its much-touted 13MP Sony IMX278 camera with a f/2.2 Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens, coupled with a Samsung ISOCELL CMOS image sensor will be a huge focus when it launches. It also gets a fingerprint sensor on the back.
It gets a generous 4,100Ah capacity battery with the famed VOOC Rapid Charging built-in.
The OPPO R7 Plus will run the latest ColorOS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Pricing and availability details will be available during the launch. Stay tuned for updates!
