If the Sony Xperia S is a bit too large for you in terms of size and well, cost, you may opt for its smaller, cuter counterpart. The XPERIA U isn’t only cuter, it’s made for entertainment.

The smallest of the Xperia series, the Sony Xperia U is a mere 112mm long, 54mm wide and weight only 110grams. Don’t let that fool you though as the Xperia U retains most of what its big brother the Xperia S has, only with “lighter” hardware.
In comparison to the Xperia S, the Xperia U runs on a 1GHz STE U8500 dual core-processor, has a 3.5” screen and a 5MP camera instead of a 12MP and features a smaller storage capacity. The Xperia U also features xLoud and 3D Surround Sound audio technologies for crisp audio playback. The Xperia U retains most of the Xperia S’ software such as the Mobile BRAVIA engine. Aside from this, there are also interchangeable base caps, if you feel that black or white is too dull (or perhaps to label your phone if your entire family has the same model).
